THE ENHANCING MANAGER: BASIC MANAGEMENT SKILLS

Management and leadership are concepts that complement each other and consist of different skills and competencies. Both are needed for individual and team performance in varying work environments. In management, the need for basic management skills in areas such as planning, organization, implementation and control is evident before advanced management skills and competencies such as coaching, delegation, negotiation, conflict, strategic thinking. The aim of this seminar, especially for first-level managers, is to provide participants with the basic management skills such as planning, assignment, monitoring, feedback, and to give tips for the upcoming stages of their leadership careers.
